Welcome to the work of Jenny Allen-Price, where lived experience meets practical action. As an author, educator, and founder, I focus on building systems that empower neurodivergent youth with real-world skills, confidence, and voice. Through initiatives like Dragon Brew and Next Step Coffee Co., I work to create meaningful pathways from school to community and beyond.

Welcome—I'm Jenny Allen-Price

I grew up unheard and underestimated. Today, I'm a transition educator, speaker, and nonprofit founder dedicated to helping young people develop the confidence and skills they need to move forward.

I recently earned my master's degree in Special Education, and my work blends research-informed practice with real-world transition programs like Dragon Brew and Next Step Coffee Co.

This site brings together my story, my mission, and the work that fuels me.

The Voice They Never Expected

A memoir about finding voice, purpose, and power through lived experience.

This memoir chronicles my journey from being unheard as a child to creating student-centered work grounded in purpose, responsibility, and impact. It explores what happens when people are trusted with real opportunity—and rise to meet it.

When students are trusted with real responsibility, they rise—not despite who they are, but because of it.

Next Step Coffee Co- Empowering Young Voices Through Community

Next Step Coffee Co. is a student-centered nonprofit that builds job readiness, confidence, real-world employment experience, and community connection.

Speaking & Workshops

I speak to educators, leaders, and community partners about creating systems that empower neurodivergent students to thrive—academically, socially, and vocationally.

Speaking topics include:

* Neurodivergence and inclusive systems

* School-based enterprises and real-world learning

*Transition programming and post-secondary readiness

*Trauma-informed teaching and leadership

*Quiet leadership and lived-experience-informed advocacy

My work bridges personal insights with practical strategies that translate directly into classrooms, programs, and communities.
